Meet Dr. Sorin
Dr. Sorin received his DMD degree from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine and completed an additional year of advanced training as a General Practice Resident at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City. He has been practicing aesthetic and restorative dentistry for a primarily adult patient population for over 30 years.
In addition to his dental practice, Dr. Sorin is a voluntary attending and teaches at New York Presbyterian Hospital, and holds an academic appointment to The Weill Medical College, Cornell Medical School.
He has studied extensively with some of the best minds in dentistry, including Dr. Peter Dawson at the Center for Advanced Dental Studies in St. Petersburg, FL., Dr. John Kois at the Kois Center in Seattle, WA. and Dr. Frank Spear at the Spear Education Center in Scottsdale, AZ.
Through these mentors, Dr. Sorin has developed a commitment to the total oral health, comfort and beauty, and philosophy of comprehensive, individualized care based on sound biological principles.

Dr. Sorin has lectured on a variety of subjects including dental aesthetics, the role of computers in dentistry as well as the relationship of restorative dentistry and temporomandibular joint dysfunction. He co-authored the Biofunctional Esthetics: The Comprehensive Approach to Esthetic Treatment, published by the Journal for Oral Health and Dental Practice.
Dr. Sorin is a member of the American Dental Association, The Academy of Osseointegration, The New York Academy of Dentistry, The American College of Dentists and The New York County Dental Society, where he presently serves on the Board of Directors.
